Competitive Race - 46KM 2500D+
Borc Trail is the most challenging route and takes the name of the event. Compared to last year, it has been revisited to stay at higher altitudes so as to better enjoy the upper part of our mountains. Immediately after departure, scheduled for 7.30 am, you will cross the Piazza of Polcenigo, then passing through the former Franciscan convent of San Giacomo in the direction of Coltura. Arriving at the famous Gorgazzo Spring you will take the paths that will lead you to Mezzomonte where, immediately after a refreshment, you will continue towards the Col Scarpat passing by Casera Busa Bernart and Casera Costa Cervera. At this point you will find yourself in the Bosco del Cansiglio where, starting from the Maset Refuge and passing through the Casera Ceresera, you will continue with continuous ups and downs, until you almost reach Piancavallo. At 28 km, after a small but intense climb, you will be on top of the Col Cornier where you can enjoy the view that sweeps from the sea to the Dolomites. Then you will come across a stretch of descent followed by a small climb, the last one. Just before the Casera Valle Friz you will begin the descent, among large meadows and woods, which will take you back towards Mezzomonte passing through the Casera Val di Lama. From here on, a succession of fast single track trails and some other more technical tracks will lead you to the finish line. This type of trail makes the descent fast and fun but for which it is necessary to maintain a good level of attention.
